Cupped head weld Pin is a kind of insulation fasteners, it simplify the permanent installation of "duct Liner" or other insulation material to duct work or to other heating, ventilating or air conditioning sheet metal and housings. They are also effective when used to attached insulation material to architectural panels for an array of commercial and industrial uses, including curtain wall and sound control applications.
These cupped head pins are made out of low carbon steel or stainless steel, the cup head diameter we carry with 3 sizes( 25mm, 30mm and 38mm). the pin standard pin diameter is 12 Gauge(2.0mm) or 14 Gauge(2.7mm), This product is usually applied with a capacitor discharge stud welding machine( Cupped head pin welder). Cupped Head Pins are widely accepted as labor saving fasteners in the thermal and acoustical insulation markets for use in industrial and commercial applications. Some variations of material are available. However, the most popular style Cup Head Weld Pin are produced out of mild steel weld nail with a mild steel galvainzed retaining Washer, We also carry the cupped head weld pins insulated- a paper under the cup head and a plastic sleeve on the pins.
